Children’s Stories

Luke, 4 yrs old, IL – “Daisy Goes On A Boat Ride”

Daisy flapped her ears. Daisy leaves footprints. She stepped on the couch. Big tail, like very long! Daisy’s looking for a blue rock with red in it, a blue and red rock. Someone fixed Daisy and made her into a pig, so you can get more legs and a tail in front. She turned into a pig that was red. Daisy the pig turned into an egg. Then she turned into a dinosaur and back into a puppy dog. The End.

Zachary, 6 years old, IL – “Daisy Counts To 10″

I saw Daisy Learns to Count to 10. And there were nine bananas and an egg carton that held six eggs and 10 apples, and there were four teacups. There were 100 bubbles and there were like 20 flowers, and one picture of Daisy.

Maggie Rose, 6 years old, IL – “Daisy Goes to the Park”

Daisy goes to the park and sees some people and they were petting her. And she saw the lake, and there were swanboats and paddleboats.

Leannea, 5 years old, England – “Daisy Goes to the County Fair”

She wanted to be the author and she would write Daisy’s story. It was lovely. I talked to the cows and the sheep and the lambs and I talked to the chickens and the rabbits. Well, let’s get some food!

Jasper, 8 years old, England – “Daisy Goes to the County Fair”

He decided his story would be told by the person holding the lead (leash) for Daisy. It was fun at the County Fair because Daisy talked to all the animals. I think she was enjoying it, and then I gave Daisy her bone and food and a drink.

Hannah, 9 years old, California – “Daisy’s Winter Playdate”

Hannah is telling another child the story.

That day Daisy runs to the door and Bosco and Baby Hannah come in. They have a little snack. Then they go outside on the frozen lake. While they are on the grass they played with balls! Then they see people sledding on the frozen lake. Then Daisy walks on the lake. Then Hannah is sledding on the frozen lake. Then Daisy and Baby Hannah and Bosco all slip on the ice. Then when Baby Hannah was running and her hat fell down and then they went inside. Then Baby Hannah opened a present. Then Hannah got her jacket and hat on and went home and so did Bosco.

Cathy, 5 years old, California

“Daisy Goes to the Park”

Daisy was letting her Mom put a leash on her neck, and then Daisy walked, and then, made it to park, saw a baby, and then, she saw another friend dog, and then, Daisy saw a goose boat, regular boat, and then, Daisy went home.

“Daisy’s Winter Playdate”

Daisy’s Mom opened the door when there was a baby there. Daisy saw her picking the cookie and Daisy tried to get her cookie, and then, they put their jacket on. The baby gave Daisy a dog cookie, and Daisy went outside while she was putting her hat on. Then the baby picked up a purple ball, another and another. Daisy wanted to go ice skating. Corgi dog and Daisy slipped. Then they went back inside, and then she opened her present. Daisy and her picture. She smiled and they left. That’s all for the story.

Please tell us about the stories your child creates while watching Daisy.

Thanks Amy. We were told by the Early Childhood Consultants we work with to keep them around 10 minutes, so we did! I could watch Daisy for hours too. She makes me laugh! Mary

My 2 year old adores his Daisy movies, especially the zoo, construction equipment, & snowy play date (though he doesn’t like another child petting “his doggie”). He’s learned animal names & we are anxious for more daisy movies!
